Job Description:
An outstanding opportunity exists for a motivated and talented full time Training Officer.
The successful applicant will possess:
A minimum of 2 years experience in International Freight Forwarding and / or a Customs House Brokerage, preferably in a supervisory role.
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to deal with people on all levels.
Proven training, administration and customer service skills advantageous.
Intermediate computer skills.
Preference will be given to someone with a strong understanding of accounts to general ledger level within the Freight or Customs industry.
Your primary role will be the supply of training for CargoWise edi's software to our customer base. You will have a thorough understanding of the freight and/or customs industry and enjoy teaching others.
Responsibilities may also include internal staff training, assisting local sales staff in providing detailed product demonstrations to prospective customers, assisting the Customer Service Help Desk, production of user documentation / examinations, user acceptance testing and general administrative tasks.
Full product training will be supplied.
Preference will be given to someone with a bookkeeping background related to the Freight or Customs industry.
The organization is an international company with its head office in Sydney, and 14 offices globally.
Travel Requirement: Approximately 30%. There is also an opportunity for international travel.
